Terms of Use
This is a private family site, not a paid service. These are the house rules — nothing tricky, just what we expect from each other while we’re sharing space here.
Who can use this site
The site is for Woelke family members and people invited by an admin. Membership has to be approved, and an admin can revoke access at any time if something goes wrong. If you’re here, it’s because someone in the family wanted you here — please act accordingly.
What you can post
Family-appropriate content: photos, videos, written memories, and messages. Two simple rules:
- Don’t post anything that isn’t yours to share. If you’re unsure whether a photo or story belongs to someone else, ask them first.
- Don’t post anything mean about other family members. This is a place to remember each other well, not to settle scores.
Disagreements
If something on the site bothers you — a photo you’d rather not have up, a comment that landed wrong, anything — email awoelke@gmail.com. An admin will sort it out. Please bring it to the admin before it becomes a bigger thing.
Your account
Keep your sign-in private. Don’t share your account with anyone else — if your spouse, your kid, or your sibling wants in, they should get their own account. That way it’s clear who’s posting what, and access can be managed cleanly.
If you think someone else has gotten into your account, tell the admin right away and we’ll lock it down.
Site availability
We’ll do our best to keep the site running, but this is a hobby project, not a paid service. Sometimes things break. Sometimes they’ll be down for a while. There are no guarantees about uptime, and there’s no SLA — please don’t treat this as your only copy of irreplaceable photos. Keep your originals somewhere safe.
Content ownership
What you upload is still yours. By uploading it, you’re letting the family see it on this site — that’s the whole point. You can ask for any of your uploads to be removed at any time.
Closing an account
You can ask the admin to close your account whenever you want, and we’ll do it. Admins can also close an account if it’s being used in a way that’s unsafe, hostile, or disrespectful to the rest of the family.
